The TANF funded programs are intended to help low to moderate income families with underage children in the home or non-custodial parent paying child support within Muskingum County deal with life’s unexpected circumstances and provide support for families to fulfill their day-to-day obligations to promote self-sufficiency.
TANF dollars can be leveraged with other funding sources and programs to best fulfil the family’s needs.
TANF Rental Assistance ProgramThe TANF Rental Assistance Program can assist with a past due rent and can assist with up to $1,100.00 towards rent (late fees and other fees ineligible) to prevent an eviction from occurring.
TANF Water Assistance Program
The TANF Water Assistance Program can assist with past due payments and can assist with up to $500.00 towards late payments along with late fees and reconnect fees.
TANF Water Heater Repair/Replacement Program
The TANF Water Heater Repair/Replacement Program can assist owner occupied households with Water Heater Repair/Replacement with up to $1,000.00 towards repair/replacement.
